Vitamin and their sources

Vitamins are organic compounds which are needed in small quantities to sustain life, found only in living things, i.e. plants and animals. They are essential for our bodies to function properly, for growth, energy and for our general well-being.We need to take vitamins from food because the human body either does not produce enough of them or none at all.
