Lemon and coriander soup recipe for relieving cold and flu

Kids usually suffer from cold and cough .one of the best soup that kids will enjoy during cold and cough is lemon and coriander soup.This soup is rich in vitamin c which helps in reducing cold and cough.

Ingredients

1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp finely chopped green chilly
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
1/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander
1 tsp oil
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
1/4 cup finely chopped carrot
3 cups vegetable stock
salt to taste
2 tsp cornflour
 2 tbsp water
 
How to prepare:
 
  • Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, add the garlic and green chilly and saute on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  • Add the onions and saute on a medium flame.  
  • Add the cabbage and carrots and saute on a medium flame.
  • Add the  vegetable stock, lemon juice, salt , mix well.Mix water to cornflour and also add it and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the coriander and mix well.
